IPS Adhesives, a global manufacturer of structural and surfacing adhesive products, has announced the launch of SG400LSE, a two-part translucent, methyl methacrylate adhesive product that can bond many low surface energy plastics, including polypropylene and polyethylene without surface treatment.

SG400 is ideal for a wide range of applications, including electronics, transportation, sign and display, wind energy and recreation.

“I am excited that this product brings solutions and true innovation to our customer,” said Scott McDowell, IPSA president. “SG400LSE is a revolutionary adhesive that solves the challenge of bonding low surface energy plastics without the need for time-consuming and expensive surface preparation. This opens up new possibilities for engineers, and allows them to create stronger, lighter, and more durable products.”

SG400LSE is available now through IPSA’s global distribution network.
