The all rounder for thin insulation boards 23 February 2022

EJOT has developed the screw-in anchor with plastic screw ejotherm® S1 short especially for the use of particularly thin insulation thicknesses of 20mm – 60mm.

It is suitable for all thin insulation materials, such as high performance, soffit and ceiling insulation boards, and enables flush surface installation in all substrates.

The ejotherm® S1 short has a short under head area and a short anchoring depth. The innovative assembly tool ejotherm S1 short enables an optimal setting position. The integrated bit finding leads to a high level of assembly comfort – even in constrained positions. The screw anchor is approved for all use categories (A-E) and is therefore an absolute all-rounder in its field.

With the Construction Division, the fastening technology specialist EJOT caters to selected segments of the building industry. This includes professional applications on building façades and installation solutions for technical facilities inside the building. The main products are drilling and sealing screws, nylon anchors, assembly elements for attachments, profiles, chemical and mechanical anchors as well as fasteners for flat roofs and solar applications.

Whether it is the construction of the highest tower, the most spectacular nuclear reactor protective cover or the southernmost polar station in the world – EJOT customers rely on many years of experience in the building industry. EJOT – with over 3,700 employees in 38 companies, more than 24,000 products and almost one hundred years of company history.

If thin façade insulation panels are used, for example, in the renovation of listed buildings or in window soffit areas, there are additional requirements for washer anchors. The under head geometry in particular plays an important role. Standard ETICS washer anchors quickly reach their limits here.
