Seismic approved anchors 09 January 2023

During 2022 the company announced that its chemical anchor GEBOFIX PRO SISMIK VE-SF CE 1, which is one of its leading styrene-free vinylester anchors, had obtained the Category C2 seismic zone certification for M12 - M20 threaded bars. This is in addition to it already being CE Option 1 certified for cracked concrete and receiving Seismic Category C1 for M10 - M24 bars.

G&B Fissaggi highlights that the GEBOFIX PRO SISMIK VE-SF CE 1 provides maximum safety for structural applications and very high performance even in critical areas. The anchor is also approved for use in submerged holes, complies with LEED requirements, has a category A+ for low-emission components (VOC) and is certified for fire resistance R120.

Available in 300ml, 345ml and 410ml formats, the anchor is also available in a winter formulation, Gebofix PRO SISMIK Nordic, for application on cracked concrete till -20°C, which is supplied in 410ml and 300ml cartridges. Moreover, both anchors are ETA certified for masonry, use category c,w/d, and are approved for application in submerged holes.

Other products from G&B Fissaggi that have achieved seismic certification are the chemical anchor XTR Extreme Hybrid CE certified Option 1 for cracked concrete, which has achieved the seismic Category 1 certification for M8 - M16 threaded rods and the seismic Category C2 approval for M12 - M16 threaded rods. There is also the EPO PLUS RE 3:1 anchor, which is certified ETA Option 1 for structural fixings and received Seismic Category C2 approval for M12 - M20 threaded rods.
