New HAZET torque wrench with reversible ratchet 19 December 2022

HAZET, the Remscheid-based tools and workshop equipment manufacturer, has added to its torque technology 5000-3CT product line with two new torque wrenches equipped with a ¼ inch reversible ratchet for bits.

The wrenches have been designed to facilitate work in narrow spaces in a variety of industries, as its applications include maintenance and service work, as well as work on compact modules. The 5107B-3CT torque wrench is used in the 1Nm – 9Nm range. There is also a 5108B-3CT version of the wrench, used between 2.5Nm – 25Nm. The torque wrench tools are both lightweight at 270g and versatile with a length of 234mm. The ratchet head height is a slim 10.2mm with a width of 24mm. Standard bits are held by a ¼ inch inside hexagon and are protected against loss by a lock washer.

The two torque wrenches build on the tested technology of the HAZET 5000-3CT series. An adjustment aid with detent points for optimised operator guidance ensures safe and fast adjustment of the desired torque value by turning the handle. The safe locking of the setting values is ensured by the latching function on the rotary assembly. Also, this triangular rotary prevents uncontrolled rolling away. Lock symbols indicate the respective locking status to the user.

Laser inscription provides easy to read vernier scales. This allows the user to make accurate settings and readings. All parts of the 5000-3CT series are produced and assembled ‘Made in Germany’. At the HAZET Service Centre, the prevision tools can be repaired and recalibrated if necessary.
