Hilti to expand its Nuron power tools range 17 January 2023

Hilti has announced that more than 30 new cordless tools will be added to its pre-existing Nuron range which offers 70 battery-powered tools for various industries, including construction, mechanical and engineering, interior finishing, heavy industry and steel and metal work applications.

Following the successful launch of its cordless portfolio last year, which was the biggest launch in the company’s history, Hilti has stated that more cordless tools will be added to the range this year. Nuron aims to completely remove the hassle and safety issues caused by cords, fumes and generators on the job site.

"Transitioning from gas or corded to the Nuron all-on-one cordless platform with Hilti reduces tool crib complexity, without compromising on performance. And Nuron continues to enable businesses to make informed decisions using real-time jobsite data obtained from its Cloud connected, intelligent cordless tools and batteries,” states Michael McGowan, region head and CEO of Hilti North America.

Nuron tools help improve productivity with a versatile 22V Li-ion battery that delivers an optimum power-to-weight ratio for most drilling, driving, and cutting jobs. Durability and performance of the cordless battery are monitored with a built-in battery health tester. Moreover, the tools possess sealed electronics, shock absorbers and reinforced housing to better protect against jobsite conditions. Nuron’s new electronics also provide insights on battery and tool usage.

Hilti also offers diamond and carbide blades, as well as drill bits which are designed specifically for the Nuron cordless tools to increase system performance or extend the life of both the power tools and the accessories.
