Chemical dowel for any kind of wall material 17 September 2020

The identification of building materials in old buildings is often a challenge. It is not always clear that the materials processed can be clearly determined. With EasyMix, Spit therefore offers a fastener that is suitable for all common wall construction materials.

Both medium and heavy loads can be mounted with the chemical dowel indoors. The patented product features a pre-portioned, integrated mortar cartridge that ensures clean workmanship and low susceptibility to errors.

Up to 75% of the total construction activities take place on existing buildings. In order to be able to carry out orders professionally, a careful inventory of the building substance is important. However, in this context, it is not always possible to determine the building materials used, as the information on the age of the building and the results of a drilling test are often not clear. This is particularly problematic when attaching medium and heavy loads to the wall and ceiling and makes it difficult to choose the appropriate fastening device.

With EasyMix, Spit therefore offers a system that can be used universally. The chemical dowel is suitable for both solid and hollow construction materials. For example, cable trays, wall consoles or switch boxes can be easily mounted on walls made of perforated stone or concrete.

EasyMix is a complete set that is immediately ready for use – the plug can be inserted directly into the prepared borehole. In addition, it already has an integrated, pre-portioned mortar chamber. It releases the material when screwing in the attached threaded rod by means of a cordless screwdriver and causes an optimal 360-degree distribution of the mortar. The latter is precisely dosed in quantity, so that no residues and impurities are created.

An additional press-out device is not necessary during the application. Since all components are already matched to each other, the susceptibility to errors during processing is also low, while the accuracy is high.

Assembly is five times faster than with conventional screen sleeves and mortar cartridges. In addition, the plug can be used after a short time, eliminating long waiting times.
